Forum Title: Does anyone recognize this screen door hardware?
The handle on my screen door has broken but, normal replacement hardware does not fit this odd size handle. There are 3 holes for the top part of the handle and 2 more holes for the bottom lock mechanism which connect to the outside plate. Normal replacement handles do not fit or cover this odd setup. I have checked the screen door for a manufacturer number but there is nothing to be found. Does anyone recognize it or know where I might find a replacement? I have searched everywhere and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Chuck How do I attach images?

If you can match the siding on the outside, definitely do away with the window. Just make sure you have an exhaust fan system installed before you close it all up.

Turns out the door is an EMCO which has been purchased by anderson and they want $60 for the replacement handle when I could buy a new door for $100. What a joke. Any alternative solutions are welcomed. Where could I get some plastic or metal plugs to fill the holes for the bottom locking unit. Does Lowes or HD sell things like that?
