If you can match the siding on the outside, definitely do away with the window. Just make sure you have an exhaust fan system installed before you close it all up.

Turns out the door is an EMCO which has been purchased by anderson and they want $60 for the replacement handle when I could buy a new door for $100. What a joke. Any alternative solutions are welcomed. Where could I get some plastic or metal plugs to fill the holes for the bottom locking unit. Does Lowes or HD sell things like that?
